Project Overview

Karen Childress Designs was called to plan the interior space for this barndominium that had the slab, plumbing, and shell in place.  The challenge was helping the owner understand that the sketch on paper did not convert to the exact room measurements once the wall thickness was taken into consideration for the floor plans.  This resulted in a smaller than expected hall bath, but we made it work with a corner sink.  The owners vision was a flexible space that could be used as a short term rental as well a venue for small events.  The result of Karen's design, in collaboration with the owners,  is a lovely modern space that is a favorite with AirBnB guests.
